Hi,
Please help me with this. A few days back I accidentally shut down my computer without actually finishing updates on Windows 7. And now my laptop is saying - No bootable device - Insert boot disc and press and key. Please help me. Help is appreciated. Also, I tried Ctrl Alt Delete but it doesn't work.

Thanks

Just to be sure, you don't have any disc or usb or something like it, plugged into your computer?

You have lost the boot sector, you will need to do a repair.

The bit you want is .. Recovery from the startup screen (during system boot)

and then choose Microsoft Startup Repair Tool

if that doesn't fix it, use the option System Recovery, which will wipe the disk and put it back to the way it came out of the box the first day you switched it on.
