Hello, i recently built a computer, and i use my monitor which has inbuilt speakers as my speakers.

Monitor: Asus MX239H, this is the ports available: http://www.asus.com/websites/global/products/zZRAvMwYQkdCZG8L/mx08.jpg

I also recently purchased the Razer Kraken Pro Headset with microphone as i needed a microphone. However if i plug the headset and microphone cables on to my case, the sound is not being played by my headset, instead it is still coming from monitor speakers, to solve this i plugged the headphone wire into the back of the mx239h, however there is no port for microphone in the back of the mx239h.

Please help me what do i do! thanks!

Did you wire the internal case cable for those sockets to the motherboard.

If you did, and you also installed the audio drivers, then if you right-click speaker icon in system tray, you can set default input/output source for speakers or headset.
