Hello everyone.
A few days ago i replaced my FX8350 stock cooler with a cooler master hyper tx3, my case
is a CM k350 meaning it has the PSU on the botom. At the time i was instaling with my
uncle and the tought of process was that the heatsink would face the gpu and the fan the top of the case,
meaning it would suck the hot air from the case and the fan would expell it out from the top.

Is this a coorect way to install? I researched on the web and most people mount them on the side
so the fan faces the back of the case, but i dont really see anything with there being a problem
with the heatsink facing the card. I touched the card after turning the power down, and it
felt hot but not enouhg that i coudnt stand it.

With a couple of hours playing the temps would not pass 49º and would drop to 35 within minutes
after stoping. The CPU doesnt exced 55º when gaming, and quickly drops to 40.

Also, i noticed only after instaling that the heatsink is covering one of the rams,
is this a big issue? I touched both rams after power off, and it doesnt seem the one under is
much hotter than the one next to it. They are kingston HyperX blue, and they have the sleaving.

Full specs:
fx8350
asus m5a97 evo r2.0
gtx650ti boost 2gb
2x8gb kingston hyperx blue
Halfman 800w modular
CM hyper tx3

I cannot provide any pictures as of now, maybe in around 6 hours when i get home ill snap some pics :)
Any advice/comments are apreciated.

So the heatsink it self should be facing either the top, or the back of the case.
aka. the fan shoud either face the front of the case, or the GPU.

Am i right?

Yes! Option one blow to the back of the case option to blow to the top.
