Xbox 360 wired controller not working on The Godfather pc

i can not get my Xbox 360 wired controller to work on The Godfather pc. The controller works perfectly on other games like FIFA 13. The game recognizes it, but I can't calibrate the controller.

Keep in mind that many games like MW3 support only mouse + keyboard configurations. I'm checking right now if the game supports gamepad...

i read this guide again and i found out that i named my controller incorrectly. I corrected it and now the controller works perfectly with the game.
