Hi,

I just bought a new PSU: Fortron Source FSP700-50ARN 85+ - 700 Watt

And I want to know if this PSU is strong enough to handle a i5/i7 with GTX 760 in SLI?

Thanks in advance.

Do you plan to overclock your cpu?
Do you use the stock cooler or something else?

Well, Maybe 10 % overlock on the CPU and no I use the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 120mm as my cooler.

Thanks.

700W can handle pretty easy a single 760 no matter the brand. But for sli the power requirements may vary...

Hello.
Worst case scenario both cards will want 330Watts. I assume that you will not overclock the GPUs.
I really can't see how your rest i5/i7 (sandy to haswell) system will manage to require 370 watts even with LN2 o/c....
So if you don't overclock the GPU's 700 watt is more than fine...
(the actually number you might need in a worst non-o/c scenario with normal peripherals is 500watt.)

So this PSU will do fine as long I don't overlock?
