How to use themes created in XP, in Windows 7?

Last response: in Windows 7

I have a bunch of themes I designed in XP simply by modifying the Windows Classic theme using the Display Properties window. How can I get them to work in Windows 7? The file extension is .theme. I tried putting them in C:\Windows\Resources\Ease of Access Themes, but that didn't seem to work.

Thanks,
Ellen

You cant...its a tottaly diffrent thing, the gap between 7 and XP is too large, i think you might have noticed that W7 has a radicly diffrent style approach.

You will have to modify everything so much thats its basicly like making the theme all over again.

Hope this has answered your question.

Windows 7 does not support Windows XP themes at all from what I remember they are completely different format.
