My friend have a GTX660 and a GTX460. Is it possible to connect 1 monitor to 660 and the other to 460 and use them for multi monitor gaming.

For multi-monitor gaming to work properly you need 3 screens. And just connect them all to the 660, there is no reason for the 460 to be in there.

you don't have to have 3 monitors for multi monitor gaming, its just better as the middle of the screen is the center monitor. for dual monitor gaming the center of the screen will have a big bar right down the middle, which is bad if you do a lot of FPS games.

you can do a few things with that setup.
1) run only the 660 with both monitors on it
2) put both monitors on the 660 and run the 460 for physics
3) game on one monitor with the 660, use the 460 to do physics and run the second monitor. this will take a little of the load off the 660 as it wont have to power the second monitor while gaming giving you a few more fps.
