So I think I'm going to build a rig with an FX-6300 and a Gigabyte HD Radeon 7950. I'm worrid this will bottleneck, so I'm thinking about overclocking the 6300. Will the $30 Zalmin Optima CPU cooler be enough to stop from overheating? Will I even bottleneck with those 2 parts?

Hmmm you shouldn't have problems playing at high settings on some games... but some games will bottle neck so i do recommend that you overclock you CPU :) I wouldn't use the Zalmin Optima CPU Cooler, the Cooler Master Hyper212+ is a much better cooler!
It has 8000 5 star reviews on newegg and its only $30

So it wouldn't overheat with this cooler if I overclock?

All CPUs will overheat if you overclock them too high...
but No, your CPU won't overheat with this cooler :)
Just keep at eye on your temperatures when you overclock, keep under 90c and youll be fine, when you know your around 90c then stop overclock, youve hit the limit of your CPU...
