Windows Explorer Keeps Crashing

Hi, every time i go to click on my system properties(start -> right click computer -> properties), windows explorer crashes and restarts.

Ive tried almost everything(/sfc scannow, clean boot, reinstalling windows, etc.)

Only thing ive had success with was safe mode, managed to solve it, but im having trouble hunting down the source.

Any help would be appreciated, ill re-create the error and post the event viewer log when I get back to my computer.

just tried to reinstall my graphics card drivers, everything installs ok, go to reset my computer, and CCC.exe fails to load

Now certain computer programs, like my 3d modeling program 3DS max wont open

I noticed on the event viewer error that they both have the same issue in the report

    "Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll"

    could this be a problem?

Thanks, CRAZYJAY. That worked for me, too.
  14. What worked for me was typing in Windows Explorer in the start menu and right clicking on it. Select properties(the last one) and go to previous versions(top right). Find one that is stock and click restore. Fixed mine, hope this helps!

Delighted to say that this worked for me too. Much less effort than the total Windows 7 Pro rebuild I'd tried before this!
