Will this run games with playable FPS? Not looking to max out or do anything crazy

You're in luck, it'll run many games well enough for you to enjoy. Skyrim, Valve games, SC2, etc. will all run on this card.

Actually pallimud, the link you posted really proves it can NOT play most games well, since IT'S AN EXTREMELY LOW-END VIDEO CARD.
The GeForce GT 745M or better would be a pretty good gaming gpu.

It will depend on the resolution of your laptop. If it's 1080p then it was have a much harder time at getting 30fps than if you're running at any lower resolution.

I guess I should have asked what he's planning on playing, but for his question, he can definitely run most games on that card. I'm not recommending the card, but simply answering the question if it can run games.
OP, if you're looking to run a specific game at a specific FPS then we can always look into that.

From the stats I've seen you can get 30FPS or more playing on Medium for Dota2, SC2, Borderlands 2, Diablo III, Arkham Asylum, and many other games. So, unless those stats are wrong, I say those games are definitely playable with that card.
