tbh with you any more than 1866mhz is useless... really 1600mhz or 1866mhz by corsair or make you actually have heard of :) not particular type to say though you are better the lower the timings aswell so 9/9/9/24 is better than 11/11/11/28 so if you can get 1600mhz at 9/9/9/24 its better than 1866mhz at 11/11/11/28 1866 isnt really needed tbh no improvement in games....

1866 will be faster than 1600 regardless of cas latency. cas latency means nothing. this isn't 2006 and lots have change since then. plus, in a gaming machine, if you can get an extra 3-5fps, it could mean the difference between playing and lagging.

the take a look at the price vs the ones OP listed and take a look at the quantity. 8gigs vs 4gigs.

as far as the brand goes................... you guys need to try some before you knock it. I've been using GEIL ram for 5years give or take. some of the best ram on the market. ripjaws is horse manure.

I am presuming that you can tell that 1866MHz is faster than 1600Mhz in front of your monitor!

swifty as me n rolli are saying the difference between 1600mhz and 1866 is minimal to the slightest where as with the timings are important.. go ahead turn yours between the 9/9/9/24 and 11/11/11/28+ because i saw a difference with that rather than the fact i had 1866 ram i mean i have 1866 but that is because there was an offer but i keep them at 1600 because there is no need and would rather turn the timings down...
