AMD drivers problem

I am using an Alienware m18x R2 with dual AMD Radeon 7970 CFX. and i am currently at 13.4 version in windows 8 64 bit. But i am unable to install any installation packages released after 13.4 like the 13.10 beta 3 and 13.9 WHQL. I am getting an error message displaying installation package failure. I tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the drivers again, but of no use. I am stuck at 13.4. Please help me

shut down. remove crossfire bridge, remove second card.

restart. uninstall drivers.

get driver sweeper. run it.

install the first card. install 13.10 drivers for that card.

Shut down. remove the first card. install second card in second slot.

restart. install drivers for *that* card. shut down.

Instal first card in first slot. add crossfire bridge. restart.

enable crossfire.
