I just got done building my new computer which I do ever 2 years.

AMD FX-9590 4.7GHz Socket AM3+ 220W Eight-Core Desktop Processor
ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Motherboard
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400
ASUS HD7970-DC2-3GD5 Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Everything started up fine after putting it all together except the fact that I am not getting any signal to my monitor. I have put in my old Radeon HD 6850 Video card and get signal just fine. I also have put in both video cards and the computer recognizes the HD7970 video card in the Device Manager. Is this something to do with the Bios or Drivers? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Could be that your motherboard does not switch properly from integrated graphics to PCIE at least this was the case for me. The only thing that helped was updating bios.
