http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Does anyone know if the above card blows hot air out the back or in to the case?

Also sort of a related question - If I have an HTPC (i7-2600k, asus p8h77-i 8gb ram and 120gb ssd) that's used mostly for watching movies in 1080p would I notice any quality or performance difference using the intel HD3000 gpu instead of the video card linked above? HTPC would be connected to a 46 inch LCD via hdmi. the 1080p movies would be standard quality 8-12gb mkv files, none of that crazy super high bitrate 40gb bluray stuff...

Thanks in advance

Most of the air from that card is going to get blown around in your case (I had the same exact card), however, it's low powered so it does not generate a whole lot of heat.

Reference cooled cards are best for blowing air out of the case.
