Hey guys I'm just wondering if I will need a full tower case with my current set up (set-up is for high end gaming/ streaming) :

CPU-Intel core i7-4470k quad core

CPU Cooler Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM

Motherboard Asus Sabertooth z87

RAM-corsair vengeance 16gb (2x8) ddr3-16

Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk

Western Digital AV-GP 2TB 3.5"

X2 GeForce GTX 770 4GB Video Card

Asus optical drive

Any recommendations regarding cases would be appreciated or if you would like to recommend a change in my set up, please let me know. Price isn't a big issue! Thanks.

If you are not planning to do video editing, rendering or cad, the I7 is overkill for gaming. Also, unless you are planning to go surround with your gpu's, 2gb models will be fine.

As far as the tower goes, up until you mentioned the sli, I would have said no. But, with the sli, I think the extra room for air circulation would be very useful. NZXT 630 is very nice, especially the windowed edition. There are some really good mid-towers also (even though I said you need a full) - look at the Corsair 400R.

No you do not need one. Just do some research on how big the mid tower allows graphics cards to be. Also some have detachable hard drive bays wich give you more space so a mid tower will be fine just kind of be care full and look at the specifications and length of the case.

Thanks everyone for the input! Yeah, I'm going to be hooking up a total of 3 monitors so I thought the dual video cards should do the trick. Haha yeah, I do tons of video editing on my work computer and love the i7's so I decided to put the i7's in my new rig. And thank's again Mark for your intake on the cases, with regarding what you said I will most likely go with a decent tall tower for more circulation. I have my eye on that phantom 820!
