Hi I have FX6300 and temps show around 10C - 20C idle and about 44C Load usually around 16 on idle is this normal? seems too low for stock cooler.. Using HW moniter and Cool and Quiet is turned off
30's a good idle. That's about where mine sits. "CPU" temp on most boards actually refers to the socket temp. It can be used as a good indicator of core temp though. It is generally 1 or 2c higher than core temp at idle and 10c higher on load so figure a sliding scale in between and you can roughly figure your core temps.
No the FX family is widely known to display low temps below 30c. after 30c they are accurate and become even more accurate the higher you go. My 6300 @ 4.5Ghz is telling me it's idling at 14c in a 26c room with an air cooler lol.

lol yea figured was wrong that's my core temps though but my cpu temp is 30 idle
