Best Monitor for GTX690
Trying to decide on a great monitor for my computer I'm putting together. I've decided to go with an LED monitor, and I've read that the 30' is a great option for GTX690 to really get the most out of the card--not saying I believe it, but what are some of the better LED monitors out there? I've seen on several websites the 'top 5' or so, but wanted to get our community's opinion on the matter. All suggestions appreciated!

Well you're correct about your top 3 main concerns for a gaming monitor, but that's only because most people choose to game at a 1920x1080 resolution. Even though the 690 is limited to 2gb effective vram, you would still benefit from getting a 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 resolution monitor. Trust me, the difference in resolution makes a difference. That's not to say of course that the refresh rate, response time, etc don't matter either. Look at what resolution you want to play at first, then see what options there are for that resolution. 1440/1600p looks much better on a 30" monitor than does 1080/1200p.
If you want a 30" monitor then you will want something with a 1600p resolution. The best monitor at that size and resolution is the Dell U3014.

I'm gonna tailor my search with the above and just list 5 on my next post on the forums, and I'll definitely include that sweet dell monitor.
Glad we could help! And I agree, that Dell monitor is pretty nice. In general, Dell makes very nice high resolution monitors.
