upgrading windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit

I am running a
Foxconn g31mxp with a max of 4 gig of ram
q6600 intel 2.4
will there be a major performance upgrade being able to use all 4 gig of ram instead of just 3.25 gig?? any benefits
I use the computer for high end gaming and movies

There will be little or no performance increase in your situation (taking advantage of the full 4GB of memory vice the current 3.25GB).

Also, there is no upgrade path from any version of 32-bit Windows to a 64-bit version. You must perform a complete, clean install.
