Why can't my vista HP boot windows 7 from a dell OEM disk? I have tried everything I can find on the web. Trying to do a clean install and it is just not coming together. I have already change my BIOS to boot from CD/DVD and still nothing. Please help and advise. Thanks.

USAFRet is right. An OEM Dell disk will not install on an HP computer. The Dell OEM disk is for a Dell computer only and only for specific Dell computers. Other than the licensing issue there would be the issue of drivers that wouldn't work for the HP.
