I have an HP p-7 1254 with a fried motherboard. Here are the current specs:

I would like to replace the board and processor, but I'm not sure what to get. From the page I linked above, I can see that I can put in an AAHD2-HY (Holly) board with a AMD A8-3850 (Liano) quad core processor, but I wanted to know if that was the best thing to do.
Are there better boards and/or processors that will fit this case? I'm hoping to stay under $300 total, but if I have to get in there and replace everything I'd like get the most performance I can for my budget.
