It is physically possible to replace your CPU but upgrading it would depend upon support from Samsung. At least one model of the NP300E4C was released with an i5 so I'm under the impression an upgrade would be possible. I wouldn't expect a lot of help from Samsung as their official stance would be to try to sell you a new computer but I would think it'd be worth a try
