So,i transformed my Xeon E3-1245v2(Underclock@2.3GHz) into a Photoshop rig,so I need to buy new parts for my Virtualization Rig.
The main question is,should I get a Xeon E5-2620 and an X79 motherboard,or should I get this Avoton atom motherboard?The C2750D4I from Asrock.It is Mini-ITX but it have 4 DIMMs,have 12 SATA ports (which i need) and furthermore it is an 8 core processor.If i get this config(around 600$ SGD,i can save over 300$(SGD) and go ECC too(which i prefer).So,which should I get?
Please Do not recommend any LGA 1150,LGA-1155 or AM3+ CPUs(not even Xeon E3 and stuff like that),because of personal reasons.
Opteron are fine though.
Some may say all Atoms are crap,but that is just not the case here IMO.
