Color changing to blueish tint, need help

So I am banging my head against the wall trying to figure this out. When I am playing a game (Starcraft II) or watching a video or even a banner ad pops up, that specific part of the screen will momentarily (about 3-5 secs or until I move off screen the affected area and bring it back) shift color to a blueish tint. My first instinct was that it was the video card. So, I actually bought another card and I am still having the same issue. And just to be clear the entire screen doesn't change color just the area when it seems like the graphics card may have the most strain. I have updated to the latest drivers and that did nothing also.

Could this be a motherboard issue instead?

here are some relevant specs

Windows 7 pro 64 bit
MOBO: Asus KGPE-D16
CPU: dual AMD Opteron 6378
GPU: Asus Nvida gtx 780
also tried PNY Quadro k4000
PSU: Corsair 850HX
bootdrive: Samsung 840 pro 128gb

Thanks for any help or advice

That sounds more like your monitor is dying, I don't think it has anything to do with your computer. Try another monitor and see if it is still happening.

Ya I was thinking the same thing as a possibility, but I run dual monitors and it happens on both of them and they are brand new Dell U2413s. So it seems like the chances are low of that possibility but maybe I am wrong to think that.

Just as an FYI also this entire system was built only 60 days ago so pretty much everything is brand new.

The newegg page for that monitor lists something called smart video enhance.. Try disabling that in the monitors menus and see what happens. I know there was a feature on my monitor that was supposed to improve contrast ratio by adjusting the backlight, but it just ended up making dark scenes far too dark so I had to disable it, so I am thinking that maybe some special feature of your monitors may be causing your issues, such as that "smart video enhance"

Or rather.. try disabling any of the stuff listed in this bit: "Dell Display Manager: Improve productivity with Smart Video Enhance, Auto Mode and Easy Arrange software applications. "

DiaSin you're awesome! Appears that was the issue, I can't believe it. I wish they would stop putting these stupid modes in Monitors and TVs.
