No. Look at the pictures of the keyboard on that newegg page, specifically the one that shows the view with the cord bundled up behind the keyboard. The keyboard has two audio plugs in addition to the USB plug. You plug the keyboard into the motherboard via usb for the keyboard itself, and you plug the audio plugs into the sound card. ok thanks i didnt see the 2 jacks at the end of the keyboard wire. i just thought there were 2 USB ports at the end of it. ok now it makes perfect sense thanks
