Which graphics engine is more stressing on your hardware, the CryEngine 3 or Frostbite 3?
As of now, Crysis 3 is currently the #1 most demanding PC game ever made, but do you think it will be surpassed by Battlefield 4 and the Frostbite 3 engine?
I can fully max out Crysis 3 on 1920x1080 and get a solid 30-50 fps using two GTX 680's in SLI, 16GB of RAM, and A Core i7 3770K.
Do you think I can smoothly max out Battlefield 4 @1920x1080 with that setup? Or will I need to upgrade to two Maxwell GTX 880's when they come out next year?
BF4 alpha benchmarks show that dual GTX 680's average 71 fps at 1080p and "Ultra" settings.
