Can Velcro alone hold a reservoir in place?

I bought a swiftech mcres micro rev2 reservoir. It is a small reservoir . Apparently it was shipped to me and is missing the 1 3/4" screws that are supposed to be included. Do you think the Velcro strips that came with it could hold the res up by themselves?

I was thinking possibly mounting it to the hard drive cages in my 900d

I really would not trust the velcro.. Maybe zip-ties with some kind of rubber between them and the res to keep it from sliding?

I honestly might just buy a different res. the micro rev I got is mostly designed for being in the bottom of the case which I can't do because I have 2 rads in the basement. There is some accessories that came with the res for mounting it into the case panel but it requires drilling holes in the case which I also do not want to do
