Good day.
I have 4 foxcon motherboard with two slots for RAM ddr3.
I have installed one kingston 8 gigabyte (max) on one of the slots but doesn't work. Will 2 x 4 GB work better ?

Solution
Probably not, but it i would suggest to go for the dual channel. Note also that every motherboard is capable of operate the ram sticks in certain frequences.
For exaple if your motherboard supports 1600MHz and you buy an 1833MHz ram stick, your motherboard will (probably) downgrade your ram frequency
and it will operate , but you will have waste money in an expensive ram which doesn't work at its full potential.

Thank you very much for your response.

It is a dual chanel motherboard and has a maximum at 8 GBytes.

Is there a chance that with the 1 X 8 will not work at all ?
