Installing a second hard drive.

Hey guys. Well I was going through some old parts and stuff and found a second hard drive. It's an old 320 GB seagate @ 7200 rpm i believe. Right now I have a 1 TB (don't know speed didn't look when i was dusting out computer). But I was wanting to put both into my computer. Both are SATA.

I just don't know what I should put on the second hard drive. I know games and windows go on the faster one. But say if I'm making a frag movie, I should throw the files on the second while I'm gaming right? I haven't even come anywhere close to filling my TB, just thought it might help to have a second hard drive for video making.

P.S Both drives need reformat , can I just connect both of them and reformat as usually?

Sounds good. You can use the 320GB as a dedicated media drive, and if it is faster than the 1TB, a dedicated games drive. This will test the hard drive speed:
