Hello, I am building a new gaming rig and I'm going to be buying a top tier card. I was just wanting some advice on if I should just go ahead and bite on the OC'd 780 or hold out for the soon to be announced AMD cards seeing as how AMD will be used on the new gen consoles and will have a higher graphical output. Any help is appreciated

Two GTX 770's should be more powerful than a single GTX 780.

2GB of VRAM is really enough for now. Maybe in the next couple of years (2-3) 4GB of VRAM will be needed but only as a real extra.
