yes a gtx650 will work perfectly with your machine.

just do keep in mind that you perform a bios upgrade before you put in your new card.

your psu will do fine.

another thing to keep in mind though is your processor. the next time you think of an upgrade, make sure it is your processor.

have fun gaming and regards :)

Yep, it'll work. If you can afford a little more, look at the GTX 650ti Boost.

Everything fits, but your processor will "bottleneck" your computer.
Get the Ti version instead, i have got that one and i run bf3 at ultra with 55+ fps.(Drops to 20 for a second or two if something explodes in my face)

I think it depends on what he's doing on his computer.
It will bottleneck a bit in CPU heavy tasks.

Exactly. Most games are not cpu intensive enough to cause issues, especially at entry level graphics (even though the boost is more mid range).

Go for the Gtx 650 ti 1gb.
You just download the new update for your Bios, put them on a usb stick and "flash" the bios.

Buy the best card you can afford.

For what you are looking at:

650 - good
650ti - better
650ti boost - best
