Hello all,
I'm curious about a recent upgrade.
I upgraded my CPU/mobo from a Phenom II 965 BE Quad on Asus M4A87TD Evo to an FX 8350 on Asus M5A99FX Pro 2.0...
Everything I've read online basically says I would need to reinstall a fresh OS claiming that the different SB chipset would cause it not to boot.
Well, it boots. It self installed drivers. Everything "SEEMS" fine.
So... Should I count myself lucky? Will there be any problems/conflicts that may surface later? Should I still do a fresh OS install regardless? I would really rather not if I don't have to.
Current System:
Cooler Master HAF 922
AMD FX-8350
Asus M5A99FX Pro 2.0
Corsair HX750
G. Skill DDR3-2133 4x4G
Samsung 840 Series SSD
Gigabyte GTX760 OC 4G
Windows 7 Home 64bit
