Is it worth getting a new Monitor?

Hello. I want to know is it worth to upgrade my Acer H233H LCD monitor ( http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/acer-h233h/4505-3174_7-33529135.html ) to a modern LED monitor. Will a new monitor give me better picture quality?
Will be using my pc for gaming once i get a GTX800 or hawaii gpu.

In my experience, a new monitor always looks better than the one it is replacing. Is it worth it? Only you can determine that.
