Is going XFire on my 7950s worth it?

If that ends up being the case...I will need recommendation on an ATX board. I have a i5-3570K and need the cards to be spaced enough to allow for a wireless card to be squeezed in somewhere.

Would anyone else like to weigh in?

Could you please elaborate on the lanes? This is my first time considering two cards.

I have a 650W Corsair.

Most boards under $100 that 'support crossfire/sli' only can run the second PCI lane at x4 which isn't fast enough to allow any performance increase with 2 cards. You need a board which can run both lanes at x8/x8.

Here is a board that is on the less expensive side that will support it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131837

You will need a new PSU. 750w. Make sure it is Corsair, antec, XFX, Seasonic. What 650w corsair do you have?

I was thinking of my wife's computer. I have a Seasonic X-series 650W Gold.
