Hi everyone, this is the concept for my very first self-built PC. My current build is self-picked but assembled by the shop I bought the components from, I'll use some parts of it in this build.
I'd greatly appreciate any feedback on how to improve this build.

System usage: Gaming and potential video recording, livestreaming

CPU: Intel i7 4770K
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero
GPU: 2-way SLI Asus GTX 770 2GB DirectCU II OC
PSU: Seasonic X-850 80+ Gold
Case: Corsair Carbide 300R (7 fans) - will look for bigger case
Case fans: 3x Noctua NF-P12 120mm (2x top exhaust, 1x rear exhaust) &
4x Noctua NF-P14 140mm (2x front intake, 2x side intake)

Now some parts I'll use from my current build

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP C9 1600MHz 2x4GB
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB
SSD: Crucial m4 128GB

It's quite expensive so any feedback on more cost-efficient parts is much appreciated.
Price in Euro's is €1475 ($1996) without case fans and €1624 ($2198) with case fans.

Noctua NH-D14 is a pretty big cpu cooler and it will berely fit to corsair 300R(aka you cannot put any fans at the side panel)

Also if you don't plan for sli you could save a few money by buying a 750 - 700 watts psu

Finally, an uberexpensive motherboard will not increase by any means the perfomance in an linear way....

Thanks I'll look into a bigger case for that.
I definitely want to go with the 2-way SLI GTX 770's so I don't want to be on the minimum specs.
For the motherboard I was opting between MSI Z87-GD65, ASUS Z87-PRO and the Maximus VI Hero, which are all the same price for me, so just picked the one with most features, do you have any suggestions other than these 3?

If this motherboard suits your needs and you can afford it there is point to make compromises.

You could leave your cpu run at stock speed for a few months and then buy the cooling components(cpu fan, case fans)

You could also work with the iGPU for a few months and then buy the 770s(one by one or together)
