Well guys, I have a burning question in my head.

My friend is a Hardcore AMD Radeon user, but i like Nvidia. So i want a third opinion

I was wondering, should i use a 780, or a 7990 (since prices seem to be falling)? Or perhaps just wait for the new GPU's that are arriving on the scene soon?

Solution
The 7990 would give the 780 a firm spanking in games that support Multi-GPU, but the GTX 780 would outperform the 7990 in games that do not. However, with AMD's next gen cards around the corner, it would be smart to wait and see all the options.

Absolutely if you compare prices NVidia gets beaten hands down. Nowadays a 7970 costs just $280, a price which the GTX 780 can't even compete with. So your friend is bound to be fan of AMD..
