ASRock 970 Extreme3 No POST after driver install

I just bought all the parts for a new system and put it all together. I booted form the Windows 7 Home Premium DVD and installed Windows. All went well. Next, I put the ASRock driver disk in and did the default "Install All Drivers" option. I agreed to the UAC and it started installing. After about a minute, it re-booted on its own and ended up on a screen that was asking me to "Generate Serial ATA Diskette? (Y/N)"
I chose no, and it immediately went to a blank screen, and I even got the "no signal" message on my monitor. I waited a few minutes, nothing happened. I shut it off, restarted, and I got an error from the motherboard (before it posted). The error, which I didn't write down, and I don't remember what it said, gave me the option to go ahead and boot by hitting Enter. I did, and it went back to the same screen before with the "Generate Serial ATA Diskette" but this time, I chose yes. Again, it went to the blank screen, no signal, and nothing.
I restarted again, now when I power it on, there is absolutely nothing. The power comes on, the fans spin up, lights come one, but nothing ever happens on the monitor. No POST, no nothing.

I know all the hardware is working because I went through the process of installing Windows, and everything went as smooth as it could go.
So, any ideas?

Solution
I found that the PC was trying to boot from the driver disk, and that is what caused the "Generate Serial ATA Diskette? (Y/N)" message. There was another problem with my PSU. I bought a new one, and everything is working perfectly for 2 days straight now. I guess the old one was just intermittently giving out.

Think I'd start over and reinstall Windows, then rather than using the Driver disk, download the individual drivers from the Rock website and install individually starting with the chipset drivers, what's on the CD may well be out of date anyway

You can't install Windows when it won't get through post.
Anyway, I got it to boot, and it went right into Windows this time. So now I'm starting to think my PSU might be glitchy because this problem is eerily similar, although not exactly the same, to what was going on with my old rig, and the PSU is the only thing that is not new.

Yeah, I'll update this thread once I find out what the problem is.
