Just did a new build.. Everything is up and running smoothly except for my sound.. I use the turtle beach xp500 headset and was able to use them perfectly fine on my old computer..
Now on my new mother board (MSI X79A-GD45 Plus), it has ACL892 on board sound. When i install the driver no High Def Optical option is available. I have downloaded drivers from their site and a couple other sites. Also installed directly from the Mobo CD.
Anyone help me out? Any input or thoughts would be greatly appreciates.
I am currently running MSI Live Update 5 to see if this can fix the driver issue..
At one point i did see a S/PDIF but then windows automatically auto installed a driver..
