your motherboard and CPU not compatible. you're matching a socket 1155 CPU with a socket 1150 board.

get an i5-3330 or something cheaper than that 3470. a 0.2-0.4ghz drop is not a big deal. alternatively, an FX-6300 or it's equivalent or even an i3 is not a bad choice for mid gaming performance.

i'm guessing that 18.5" monitor has a resolution of 1600x900? 1366x768 at worst? so unless you MUST have constant 60fps+ in ALL games at max settings, the GPU is not going to be a problem most of the time. when it is, try lowering those settings to mid.

as for memory, you could try a 2x2GB kit and put that dual data rate to good use, and upgrade later on.
