Hello!

I already have a 1440x900p [Viewsonic VA1912WB] Monitor

I am making a new pc with the following specs:

CPU------------------FX 6300
MOBO---------------- [Motherboard not yet decided]
RAM------------------G.Skill RipJawsX 8gb
CASE-----------------HAF 912 with window
HDD------------------WD 1TB Blue + 360GB Seagate + 160GB WD
PSU------------------Seasonic S12ii 620W

Will the 7770 max out all games on 1440x900p? [I am ready to notch down a few settings on games like crysis 3 ]
Will it max out games like WATCH DOGS/SPLINTER CELL BLACKLIST ?

I will then buy a 1080p monitor + a graphic card [the nextgen gfx card] after 1 year [and set a dual monitor setup - only the 1080p or gaming]

---------------OR----------------

I could straight away buy the 1080p monitor now and get a card like 7870/GTX 760

Also ULTRA quality + 1440x900p is better than medium-high qualities on 1920x1080p?

Please need help!

A 7770 will max some games at 900p but struggle a bit in the most intensive titles. Even at 720p a 7770 can't fully max Crysis 3, but can play it at high.

If you're wanting to stick with 900p look for a 7850 or a GTX 650ti Boost. You can pretty much max crysis 3 and upcoming games at 900p with these cards. Should you choose to go 1080p, consider the 7950 or gtx 760. Personally the 7950 would be a better choice as it has greater overclocking potential to reach GTX 770/7970GHZperformance, 3GB VRAM and competes at the same price point at the GTX 760. Both options would be great though.

Hope this helps

The gtx 760 is better than the hd 7770 by all means. Here are some real games benchmarks http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/777?vs=854 and here are the percentage decrease of the hd 7770 to the gtx 760 http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_760/27.html you will find the hd 7770 44% while the gtx 760 is 100%. Yes, the gtx 760 will last for long time while you are playing games on decent framerates if you intend to set down some settings, even on 1080p. However, if you are tight on budget, you can search for the cheaper hd 7950 which come with nearly the same performance while having more vram(3gb) and better overclockability, the hd 7950 has reasonable prices now so you can consider buying it. Finally, the gtx 760 is better than the hd 7870, it is on par with the hd 7950 even with the price, this doesnt mean that the hd 7870 is extremely inferior, its a great card as well.

EDIT: your cpu and psu will handle all of the cards we mentioned : hd 7870, 7950 and gtx 760 so dont worry about them, just throw at what you want.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I am from india and this is the pricing scheme here:
7770: 143$
650ti: 170$
7790: 196$
650ti boost: 210$
MSI 7850 2gb oc: 240$
XFX 7870: 265$
760: 345$
7950: 400$
7970: 500$
770: 500$

Dell s2240L 1080p monitor = 140$

Also I am talking about 7770 on 900p and 760 on 1080p, so a direct comparision between them is of no use to me :)

If you can't get a 7950 at GTX 760 prices, go for the 760 at 1080p. At 900p go for 650ti Boost, given the pricing structure you just posted. If you're willing to play at 'high' as opposed to 'max' settings at 900p a 7770 should do, but the 650ti Boost is worth the extra, especially if it has 2GB VRAM.

Can I get both te 650ti and the 1080p monitor?
Then I can use both the monitors in dual setup for my studies/coding/programming/photoshop etc and use the 900p for gaming [for all the demanding games] and 1080p for [less demanding games which I play a lot like dota2/CS:GO/Skyrim etc?

Just saw that GTX 660:243$
Only 30$ more than 650ti boost and considerable difference?

That could be an ideal setup. It would require you to swap displays in the Nvidia control panel depending on whether you were playing at 900p or 1080p, but if you're willing to do that then yes you can. For simplicity you could just keep 1080p for your study and photoshop work and use the 900p monitors solely for gaming.

the GTX 660 is a great card even at 1080p. It's a good chunk faster than the boost, so i'd say it's worth the extra $30. With a GTX 660 you could solely play at 1080p then in any game, though Crysis 3 may need a couple of settings reduced.

The HAF 912 is designed for high airflow; hence the acronym, so your case is great. Providing you're not looking to rage the overclock speeds and add extra voltage to the card, the card will be quiet and cool even with a single fan. I say stick with overclocking at stock volts, as it's voltage that is the main culprit for temperature increases.
