WHat is the correct cooling i need? i can't seem to find any site at all that will tell me the correct heatsink and fan i need. it's an asus motherboard. i accidently bent the pins on the original cpu motherboard. Anyways it requires metal screws instead of the old p7- h55.m.dp that was just 4 plastic snap clips. can you help me locate one designed for this model please? My new board is a p7-h55m pro LGA

what do you mean by "pins on the original cpu motherboard"?

if you are looking for screws of the cpu heat sink you use, am am afraid that wont be easy to come by unless you or someone else you know has spare ones lying around.

your socket as might already know it is LGA1156, so heat sinks will be pretty easy to find.

the raised pins that the cpu sits upon on the LGA1156 when i pulled the levere to close it they all bent over..Ty for your responsew. this'll make finding one easier.

ok so you mean the pins on your socket???

those pins are a little bent be default not straight....you do not need to worry.
