From what I've found it requires 2 x 8 pin connectors.

If you are worried you wont have enough, if you ahve any molex connections free on your PSU you can gat molex to 8 pin adaptors easily enough.

As far as your Mobo goes, have you considered checking the manual? (I know, nobody uses the manual, its a man thing, but it wont hurt to check.)

A molex connection is flat and contains 4 pins. Molex connections are commonly used for powering case fans and IDE hard drives. To find out what one looks like, just google 'molex' and looka t the images.

You should use the manual to check what connections your motherboard has. Somewhere in there will be a diagram of your motherboard, and it will show things such as the ATX power connector, fan headers and any other power inputs. But to be honest if you looka round the CPU socket you should find that there is only 1 CPU power socket, whihc by the sounds of it you have already connected a cable to.

If you can give me the make and model of your PSU I can check and see if it will be able to power the 7970. You need to make sure that it is powerful enough to run the card, as well as have enought connections.
