Front Panel Audio Header Issue. I've had this computer for a year and just now started to use the front audio. I noticed the audio was switched, left and right. So I went into my computer and changed around a few of the cords and this is what I ended up with, http://i.imgur.com/sItIyYu.png . With this picture being what it looks like on my Front audio header, only the right speaker is working properly, the left won't make any sound. I've tried many combinations but nothing seems to have worked. If there is a certain combination that must be done in order for them to work, let me know. I could have avoided this problem by taking a picture before I started working on it, but I didn't think of it. Thanks.

Sometimes with wires tho you dont have to even touch them, just loose connections inside the wire itself, I've had plenty of headphones that would work perfectly when you hold them a certain way, and not at all when you move it slightly. But I'm not an audio expert far from it, audio is the one thing i can't stand trouble shooting in a computer. But that is just my opinion.

The audio was fully working before I did anything to it, its just the audio left and right channels were switched. Is there anything wrong with the placement of the wires?

I can't tell with that kind of picture. What are the red and different colored wires? They could mean anything. It sounds to me like a bad wire, when it got moved, it got moved a certain way and it damaged it.

The different colored wires, there are 4, white, black, red, green. They are labeled in the picture and are placed like that onto the front panel audio header. The only one that seems to work is the white wires. How easy is it to damage the wire? I never put much force on when doing these kinds of things with computers.

Okay, thanks. I'm not sure if that's the issue or not, but if it is, there's no fixing it. If anyone else would have a more accurate possibility that would be great. Thanks for your input ddbtkd456.
