4570 is better but really they are so close in performance it doesn't matter much.

Yes, they are very close in performance, the new gen of intel doesnt have much of new features for gaming. If you can get the cheaper set and invest the money for better gpu, that would be more useful. Dont worry, both cards are capable of running any gpu fine, no bottleneck will be noticed.

I would personally go with the Intel Core i5-4570 Haswell 3.2GHz and ASUS B85M-G set. While the two processors aren't monumentally different, the Haswell processors are more power efficient and can provide similar performance to the Ivy Bridge processor at a lower clockspeed, so overclocking would provide even better performance (if you're into that type of thing).

On top of that, Newegg seems to have the Haswell processor listed $20 cheaper than the Ivy Bridge processor.

The ASUS motherboard is $10 more expensive than the GIGABYTE (on Newegg) one but you're still saving $10 by going with the newer processor and ASUS mobo, depending on where you intended to shop, of course.

Newer isn't always better but in this case it's slightly better and considering how close they are in price, I'd just go Haswell for its power efficiency, however minor.

Either should be fine 3.4 and 3.2GHz is not a huge difference they should run about the same. I'd recommend a i5-3570k If you would want to overclock. Good luck :)
