Hi !!

I have very strange problem with Logitech z506 speakers and Realtek 5.1 mode...

I noticed that when I you play a song over any site that uses Flash Player (You Tube, Beatport etc.), the sound is much better than the same song played in Winamp, Windows Media Player etc. ...like the all adjustments that I made in Realtek HD Audio Menager - Room Correction have a better effect !!

...so I isolated the rear speakers switching off front and central speakers (using the options in Control Panel - Sound - Speakers - Levels) and played again same song in "Flash" and Windows Media Player... the difference was huge !!!

When the song come from players in my PC, sound from the rear speakers is low, you can clearly hear only high tone, while the other sounds seem somehow deformed, as if they were downloaded in a horrible quality... On the other hand, the same song played from YouTube, for example, even in the lower quality than that one from PC, makes much fuller sound in rear speakers, both middle and high tones are clear and strong... even when I turn off "Room Correction" and "Speaker Fill" in Realtek Menager, good sound is coming from rear speakers only without "Room Correction" adjustments I wanted !!!

How is this possible ?!?!?! Help please, this is driving me nuts !!!

*Windows 7, Realtek HD Audio, Driver Date: 03/29/2013

btw. Logitech z506 speaker comes without a button for switching on/off matrix mode, or as they call it "3D stereo" mode (when you take out two additional cables for 5.1 reproduction, the speakers automatically turn into matrix/3D mode).

Will this help at all "Realtek HD Audio 5.10.0.7030 (W2K/XP) & 6.0.1.7030 (Vista/7/8) drivers from ASUS (file size 288Mb - WHQL)"
...
found them here "http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/24364-latest-realtek-audio-codecs/page-3"

Is there any other software that can provide this ?!
