- 1 × Intel Core i5 4570 Quad Core LGA 1150 3.2GHz (3.6GHz Turbo)
- 1 × ASRock Z87-PRO4 LGA 1150 Motherboard
- 1 × Kingston HyperX KHX1600C9D3B1K2/8GX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
- 1 × Galaxy GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card
- 1 × Thermaltake SMART 650W 80Plus Bronze Power Supply
- 1 × Western Digital WD Blue WD10EZEX 3.5" 1TB SATA 6.0Gb/s Hard
- 1 × Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 OEM 64-Bit

Hey guys this is gonna be my first build, I live down in australia so keep that in mind for prices because the above is already costing 1100 and thats really my limit. But if you guys have any advice on something I can change that will give me better performance without breaking the bank, or some areas I could change to save some cash while still keeping 60fps at medium-high (preferably the latter). Cheers boys

To the person that said all you need is 30 fps...... Untrue. I would have a huge advantage at 60 plus fps over someone at 30fps. Comp players run low settings for a reason.

Cheers guys! That boosts my confidence a lot, and yeh cbrunnem I fully agree thats what im aiming for plus the monitor im going for is only 60hz and i hear that limits it to 60 anyways so that would be just perfect.. One more thing, how important is overclocking? Should I be keeping that in mind to get this rig to play future games, or should it hold its own?

If i recall correctly the recommended specs for BF3 was a GTX 560 graphics card, and I seen people on the BF forums say they played at ultra with that and 60 FPS or there abouts.

If that is true and the same thing happens here you might make ultra :p  But definitely be able to play it on high :D

Then you have to replace the motherboard as well with LGA 1155 board
