All of the hardware is very outdated, i'm not gonna lie. The Core 2 Quad will be able to keep up to some of todays modern games but not all. The videocard being an 8300GS is a very big problem, I had the 9500 GT awhile back when i was starting off and it wasnt capable of running BF3, GTA4, Farcry 3. It just couldnt run them at good framerates. The 8300GS will only run older games in high framerates, games like Half Life 2, Splinter cell chaos theory, etc.

I think you missed the bit where he said he was going to upgrade to this:

-MSI FM2-A55M-E33 Motherboard
-Cooler Master Thunder 450W 450 Watts PSU
-AMD A10-5800K

My bad, In that case is you're buying off a website; you could get more performance out of the amd FX 6350 which is only ten dollars more than the A10 but you'd have to get an AM3 board instead of the FM2. If its your only option and you're curious about performance the A10 will keep up to most of todays games but open world RPGs like Skyrim and GTA4 will have some trouble. Most other games like Farcry 3 will be alright. But again, if you still have the 8300GS it's going to bottleneck your entire system.

so i should buy-
Cooler Master Elite Power - 460W Power Supply (RS460-PSARI3-US)

MSI FM2-A55M-E33 Desktop Motherboard - AMD A55 Chipset - Socket FM2

AMD FD6350FRHKBOX FX-6350 FX-Series 6-Core Black Edition.

i mainly want to play fifa 14, cod ghosts, bf3, assassins creed 3, gta 4.
will they work or not?

I consulted my pc engineer he says, the life battery of AMD is not good.
he said buy nvidia.
is there any equivalent of nvidia to the above mentioned amd goods?
