Will I have enough fan headers? (Also, motherboard dilemma).

Hello, I'm building a high end PC rig and the motherboard I picked has 3 chassis fan connectors and 3 options (plus 2 CPU ones). Ontop of that, I have the case fans and 2 more aftermarket fans I'm buying.

My question is, will they all fit in there, and if not, is there a way to extend the amount of fan connections I can have? (e.g an external controller). I'm already getting a headache from trying to figure it out.

Planned spec:
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
i7 4930K
2x EVGA GTX 780 Superclocked (3rd one planned later on, so a 16x/16x/8x PCIE configuration is important).
SeaSonic 1050W X-Series 80+ Gold
Corsair 4x 4GB 1600MHz Vengeance CL9 (high profile heatsink)
Corsair H110 CPU Liquid cooling (240mm rad)
x2 Corsair AF140 high performance fan (will replace the stock fans on the H110)
x2 Corsair SP120 high performance fan (placed in the side panel of the case)
CoolerMaster COSMOS II case
Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB SSD
2x 2TB HDD (Seagate Barracuda)
Additional Details
The case has 1 top 120mm fan (which can be disregarded as the radiator will sit up there)
A front 200mm fan, a rear 140mm fan and 2 120mm bottom HDD fans.

It comes to a total of 4 case fan connections (unless the 2x 120mm bottom ones go into 1 connection), plus 2 aftermarket fans I'll be adding to the side pannel. Totaling at 6 fans.

From a brief look at the motherboard headers (3 case fans, 3 optional), it looks like I should have enough room, as the 2 radioator fans will probably go into the CPU fan headers (2 of those), but I still ask here as I want to be sure it'll fit.

---------------------------------------

Now, when it comes to the motherboard.. I've been in a dilemma between the EVGA X79 Classified (E779) and the Asus Rampage IV extreme.
Both of those boards seem to provide me with 3-way SLI features, but I don't know which one to go with.

Generally speaking, I've read a lot of bad reviews about the Classified board and there seems to be no professional reviews whatsoever.

Are there any recommendations about the two ? (Price is not an issue).

2 x CPU Fan connector(s)
3 x Chassis Fan connector(s)
3 x Optional Fan connector(s)

Yes you will have enough to fit six fans in there if not I will provide you with this link:

This little device will take 10 fan connections and allow it to be plugged into one motherboard header (as long as the wattage supports it) I wouldn't go over 10 watts tho just to be safe, which would be 1.5 volts, so about six fans on one motherboard header. Hope this helps, and dont forget to pick the solution so others may learn from this thread. I would also go with the ASUS motherboard they are a lot more reliable.

if you dont have enough pins on the board for the fans you could use some fan controller, lamptron has some decent one, atleast the one im using its doing good with 8 fans. on the other side, ive had many Asus products and never had a single issue with'em. dont know about EVGA mobo's but had a EVGA vid card and dint last long. I recommend you the Asus one :)

GL with your build it looks pretty awesome!

The thing with these cases nowadays is that they don't just combine all the included case fans into a single molex anymore, they come terminated with regular 3-pin case fan connections, so you really need case fan connectors for your 4 Corsair auxiliary case fans plus the 4 included case fans for a total of 8. I found this out the hard way when I ordered my new case. Do yourself a favor and just tack an NZXT Sentry Mesh onto the order and you will be good to go.

Thank you. It helps me make up my mind about the motherboard / case. The other answers were all helpful as well, though I can only pick one. I appreciate the extremely fast replies and help.

However i do agree if you are going to get serious about fans just throw the NZXT Mesh in a 5.25" drive so you can control them manually as needed. Would be an added benefit to show off as well.
