Okay so pretty much, I bought the parts for my PC and my friend came and put it all together for me. Initially I had a few problems with it not turning on ect and the first hardware problem I had was that the sockets for the RAM, only 1 of the 4 were functioning meaning I could only use 1 of the sticks (4gb). The computer eventually worked but sometimes one monitor would crash (dual monitors) and my internet browser would crash on Facebook/YouTube, I was also getting the error above when playing World of Warcraft (even on low settings) and even sometimes when just browsing the internet and my screen would somtime get this square pix -elated pattern across it which I figured was just the fault motherboard.

I was sent a new motherboard which was put in today and the RAM now all works but I'm still getting the error and pixels when playing games. Does anyone know a solution to this or am I going to have to send the GFX card back, or is it even something else?

TL;DR:
- Bought PC parts, put together, faulty MOBO RAM sockets
- Constant errors and pix-elated screen when playing WoW/Games
- Replaced MOBO and now have all RAM fitted but still have pix-elated screen/twitching

what do? thanks

got the latest drivers, annoying having to send another faulty part back, especially since I need the computer for university work but that's what I guessed

Wires seem fine, just installed all the possible updates but still the same problem.

It's now crashing either immediately or a minute or so after opening the World of Warcraft client.

I should probably also point out that the pixels and crashing only started happening 2-3 days after I started using the PC

you did all your windows updates? and you installed motherboard drivers off the disc that came with your board? you reinstalled the graphics drivers? checked cables? updated BIOS?

is this a new monitor? did you try another monitor?

please answer questions. don't omit anything.

Done most of them, will re-install drivers. I've plugged one of my monitors into the motherboard graphics card and that seems fine, no flickering ect so I'm guessing it is a hardware problem?
