CPU: A10-5800K@ 4.2ghz
GPU: 7950 TwiFrozr
Mobo: FM2A75 Pro 4
PSU: XFX XXX 750w
Cooler: Stock
I will be getting a new CPU cooler and any suggestions on that would be nice. I can fit a 120mm water or any air cooler, any suggestions are welcome, budget is under $60.
As I have it so far, just increase the multiplier until it becomes unstable, then increase the voltage by a small amount until it's stable again. I have it at 4.2 max with stock voltage, which is 1.3V if I remember correctly. I have disabled Turbo Core, but it still jumps down to 1.3ghz at light loads, which is fine. In-game/benchmark, it goes to 4.2 constant.
So, in conclusion, am I doing it right? Is there any tips you want to add? Does Turbo Core disable 2 cores? If so, by disabling Turbo Core and OCing myself, are all 4 cores going to stay on@4.2?
Something else to note, my Cinebench score went from 3.28, to 3.61.
