Thanks guys for taking the time to look at this, I'm just looking to set myself up for the next couple years of gaming. Looking to enjoy the games I currently play a little bit better and be good for the up and coming ones.

Approximate Purchase Date:
Within the next 3 months hopefully.

Budget Range:
Would like to try and have the best $ to performance but USD $1000.00 - $1500.00

System Usage from Most to Least Important:
Gaming, movies, simple recreation.

Are you buying a monitor:
Have monitor, will upgrade after the new build.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, probably Win 8

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: None preferred, but I've done most of my ordering from Newegg. I'll go where the prices are good :)

Location:
USA, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania region.

Parts Preferences
: Intel, Nvidia to some extent but not opposed to Radeon

Overclocking:
Maybe, no experience with it yet but, would give it a shot.

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, however I don't think it would be required.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1080

Additional Comments
: As far as looks go. I would like to go towards a white case this time. Good, clean cable management. I'd like to try and use a closed loop liquid cooler this time around as I'm not a big fan of Giant heat sinks taking up the whole case.

Also most of my use will be gaming, MMO's (Wow) FPS's and just all around gaming to be honest.
I'd like to squeeze as much potential I can while keeping the price down as much as possible.

Almost forgot, I'd like to add in a SSD this time around too as well as about 1TB of regular storage.I will be reusing my previous optical drive.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Just getting to be about that time. Current build is from about 2007 and would like to be set for another few years.

The above is nice, but if you can wait, I would reccommend waiting for the release of AMDs new graphics card lineup announced earlier today, the pricing and performance leaks look very interesting and worthwhile.

If you don't want a radeon card, then it should atleast shake up Nvidia's current pricing if anything.

But if you want to buy now, this would be really pushing your budget:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Agreed....I expect we wont see price breaks tho until cards are actually shipping in quantity..... that could be just b4 thanksgiving.

One issue...Geil memory won't fit under Hyper 212.

Only other thing Id comment on is CX series has voltage regulation issues (11.34 been reported on 12v rail here in forums) and 750 watt PSU that is way light for SLI on that system. For same $170, ya get better case, much better 10.0 jonnyguru performance rated PSU

Its the better CX750M, the modular version of the cx750. And yes its true, it definetely can't handle SLI GTX780s
